Christmas It was just the four of us for Christmas this year. Savannah came in at 7:10 saying she couldn't go back to sleep. So we all got up and opened presents.

Visiting Apple Hill Laura, Savannah and Delaney went to northern California in late October. When Mike and Laura lived there in the 1990s, they enjoyed visiting Apple Hill each fall. Laura had wanted for years to take the girls there. We decided this was the year.

Picking Pumpkins We went to the pumpkin farm on Highway 287 near our house. All four of us went through one giant corn maze. That was enough for Laura and she sat out the second maze while the rest of us went through. The highlight, of course, was picking our pumpkins.
